local Broadcast

The only way to reach all TV viewers
in a single market.

Broadcast TV stations in local markets that are linked to the major networks like ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX, along with some independent stations, reach 100% of the TV households in all 211 TV DMA's (Designated Market Area). It doesn't matter if a person subscribes to Time-Warner Cable, DirecTV, Verizon Fios or other TV provider; everyone gets these local broadcast channels.

The TV business is changing quickly and soon we may no longer be able to use the words "all" and "everyone" when describing local TV stations. But for now, and in the near future, local broadcast is a very important media to local and national advertisers. Car dealers, fast-food companies, retailers and other businesses need the targeting and reach of local broadcast TV to build their businesses.

Local news programs, syndicated talk and game shows, off-network reruns and other programs keep local people tuned into local broadcast TV stations.
